After a 6 hours flight of whom 1 and a half for a movie and 3 for sleeping, we arrived in the Dubaï 102°F heat !
– After the stifling heat times we left the big A/C tempered malls to reach the back alleys of the old Dubaï Gold Souk.
– Savouring a perfumed lentil soup, here are the first abroad breads we tasted : Pitas (a non-leaven dough that blows up with the water evaporation when it is put in oven)
Side dish of certain kind of mezze course. That remembered us the lebanese dishes.
– We notice discrete backstairs that we could take after asking a seller. Some oiled empty catmeal cans had to be stepped over
– Unbelievable variety of spices, dried fruits, herbs and flowers can be found. Lost in our discoveries, we forgot to take more photographs.
– The Deira ports, along the Dubaï Creek waters.
– A special moment spent with a little chinese 4 or 5 years old girl.
