As I left France without my dog and cats (they stay at my parent’s house of course), i missed the animal contact since our departure.
Hopefully, wherever we go in Madagascar I can see dogs, cats and zebu ! And that comforts me :)
As Madagascar is a poor contry, there are lots of stray dogs.
Dogs are frightened of humans.. and their kicks.
It’s not safe to hang around a food stall !
When we were on our Sign painting tour, there was this puppy who was sleeping next to a banana fritter stall
Dogs are kind of similar here : long snout and shorter than occidental dogs, when they become adults.
It seems to me that they are stronger too ;
Another litter of puppies were born where we stayed. Which meant 22 dogs in the same house.
Here is a fluffy mix between A "Coton de Tulear" and another dog !
And here is my new friend, who keeps jumping on me and looks at me as if "she" has never had a hug. I can’t resist! :p
Even if I know that all she wants is just something to eat out of my pocket...

But now, I can see many Zebus and I’m fond of them too!
