It begins with a large market area allocated for the sale of handcrafted furniture
We found numerous colourful decorative items
Fortunately, amongst the skins and bones of the poor zebus, there are other items of recycled art, such as cans which are used to make some kids’ games or collector’s items.

And don’t forget our famous baobab trees :
There were bursts of colours as we walked through the stalls.
We stood out as tourists when we entered the market.
Then different market vendors followed us everywhere to sell us their items such as vanilla and spices.
And finally, they left us only to chase after other tourists and when we found them, they would be selling completely different items.
We have to bargain everywhere, it’s how it works there :)
