They don’t feel concerned about the rules of the road. We can watch them overtaking a full lane of car in the wrong way, using the roadside. We can observe them busy at making a U turn just out of corners or on a bridge. We call them "taximètres"., means Taximeters «In other words : taxi drivers»
Like a talisman or a pride, their motto painted on their rear bumper, protect them ! This is how the taximeters challenge the traffic !
As taxis are the most common used transport, their allowed area of activity is defined by their colour !
«the white bird»
«Stay tuned» (to be followed, in French)
Some messages are the proof of a great sense of spiritualism
Was this a mix with «prière»(’’prayer’’ in French) and «St Pierre» (St Peter) ?
.
Adapted to each one’s beliefs : «Only The Lord knows who is good» and bellow «Allah will always have the last word»
Too bad, we couldn’t get for you the incredible
«God Bless Allah» !
Sometimes there are big life lessons, if one is able to extract the quintessence of the message :
«La jenesse c’est le moment de travailleux !»
(something impossible to understand like : “The Yo(u)th, it’s the moment to workshment !” ! )
Headlined by "The quiet strength", and in one word :
As a bonus, some other endemic type of vehicles and decorations :
“A benefit never can be lost” & “Good luck”
“The Jaguar. All what God does is good”
No way to get bored on Ivorian roads !
