Owner of a little snack bar and pretty passionate about cuisine, Rajkomar Khemduth had a brilliant idea: Baking and selling vegan and vegeterian (no eggs anyway) pastries. !
The small visit of his shop begins with the unfolding of various scents, shapes and colors.
The employees are hard at work: the shipment leaves soon to restock his two POS and a few other retailers.
Using neither animal products (be it eggs, fats or jellies) except milk, nor butter makes for a complicated product line planning, requiring thorough research and testing.

A lot of ingredients thus have to be replaced with some interesting ideas from a nutritive standpoint.
Vegetarian fats, tofu, banana, agar-agar...
«Tartes-banane»
mauritian «Napolitaines»
«Puits d’amour»milk usage
Although, according to Rajkomar, pleasure is the secret ingredient: bad mood and grumpiness can alter the final products. Baking is a spiritual journey for him.
We totally agree ! For us though, tasting is where the journey starts, with some truly astonishing experiences.
Croissants and the likes taste about the same, but pastries are a
great novelty.

Starting with La Marmite Divine (The divine cooking-pot), Rajkomar quickly saw is business grow, and had to expend: La Pâtisserie Divine (The divine pastry) was born.
Since then one can order wedding cakes.
The business now offers fine caterer service, fast-food, and pastries.

On top of that, Rajkomar shares his knowledge each week for a 3 months long baking course.
